Answer: No, it doesn’t come with staples - but it’s a fantastic product. -

Answer: Have you tried taking out the batteries and putting them back in? The stapling over and over started happening after about a year. I bought another one (because I love it), and so far so good. -

Is it really 7.5 inches tall?
Answer: No. It is 3 inches tall. It is 7.5 inches from front to back as it sits on a desk.
