This wax made of beeswax and carnauba wax is ideal for food safe applications but can be used to seal other materials as well, including gypsum cement, slate, bluestone, and soapstone. One buyer even used it to restore their slate fireplace surround that was in terrible condition, and another used it on their Pottery Barn bluestone-topped table to restore the appearance of the bluestone to how it looked when they bought it.
