Answer: Thought I saw Vietnam on them, but with that said they are very thin gloves, the picture is deceiving, they are not lined, they are not heavy duty type glove, for me I wouldn’t buy them again, doesn’t make a good motorcycle riding glove, wood splinter would go through them. -

Answer: You have two choices. You get these or any other light duty work gloves or you get real asbestos gloves. I wear mine shooting all the time and feel they are sufficient to prevent accidental burns. -

Answer: I would not think that these would be a good choice when the goal is to keep hands clean. I use them as mountain biking gloves - for grip and ventilation. The vent holes lead directly to the skin, and the entire palm is perforated. Great for ventilation, but not at all designed to protect the hand from liquids (or even dirt / grime). -
