Simply connect the scanner to your vehicle's 16-pin OBDII DLC, and it will power on and guide you through the diagnostic process. One of the main features of the AD310 is its ability to detect engine system malfunctions and read and clear error codes. If your vehicle's check engine light is on, this scanner can read the error code and provide you with information on what the problem might be. This can save you both time and money by allowing you to fix the issue yourself or provide valuable information to a mechanic. The AD310 also has a menu that allows you to easily read and erase error codes, as well as access freeze frame data and monitor preparation tests.
It can also obtain valuable vehicle information and is compatible with CAN (controller area network) and all other OBD built-in protocols. Please note that the AD310 may not work on some special vehicles without OBD2 protocol, depending on what the manufacturer has installed in the OBDII system.
