The Broan-NuTone 512M Through-the-Wall Ventilation Fan is a reliable choice for your ventilation needs with a 6-inch diameter and 70 CFM. Some components have to be trimmed to install the fan in a thinner wall, but if done correctly, it works well. It is not very loud, and you can have a conversation near it. The inside fan cover may be missing in some units, and the flexible duct may be unusable in others, which may need a separate purchase.
