Are these double kneed?
Answer: This style is just the work jean. The double knee jeans that we have listed are SKU 1211111 for Rigid with buttons and 1211211 for Rinsed with buttons. All other styles are on prisonblues.net. -

Answer: They are about an inch and a half off either side of the center seam -

Answer: They are comparable but not the same exact fit. The denim for Prison Blues is a heavier denim than Ben Davis products. -

Answer: The black are dark black and the rigid blue are deep blue. Both are the darkest available in the color spectrum of that color. -

Do they fit true to size in the waistline?
Answer: Prison Blues jeans fit true to size. If in doubt about waist size to order, take a pair of your "any brand" jeans that fit you well. Zip the fly and button the waistband. Lay them on a flat surface and measure the waistband of the jean from side to side pulling the waist as well as the measuring tape tight. Double that number and that should be the waist size to order in the Prison Blues brand.
