HP Aruba AP-325 JW186a Wireless Access Point, 802.11n/ac, 4x4 MU-MIMO, Dual Radio, Integrated Antennas

The Aruba AP-325 is a high-performance wireless access point that requires a "Mobility Controller" (ArubaOS 8) to manage and set up. However, this device is not included with the purchase of the AP-325. Customers should be aware of this prerequisite before purchasing to avoid potential issues. One customer mentioned a painful process with Aruba and suggested not purchasing any Aruba AP from a company that is not a reseller. Additionally, the AP-325 may not be supported by Aruba if it is not purchased through a reseller. The customer also noted that most of the 32x model APs are end of life/end of sale by 2026, with the end of sale being in December 2021. They recommended looking into the AP-303 or AP-535 depending on budget. In summary, the Aruba AP-325 is a high-performance wireless access point that requires a Mobility Controller to manage and set up, which is not included with the purchase of the device. Customers should be aware of this prerequisite and potential lack of support if purchasing through a non-reseller. The AP-303 or AP-535 may be better options to consider depending on budget.
