The Weatherproof High Sensitive CCTV Microphone is an IP67 rated microphone that can work with CCTV security cameras and DVR surveillance systems that have a microphone connector. The microphone does not come with a power cord, it gets plugged in with the DVR, and the red wire gets power, while the white wire gets voice. Users can use the same wires that they hook up the camera using an audio RCA connector to connect this mic. Although some reviewers have claimed that the microphone has adjustable volume, others have claimed that it isn't adjustable, but audio output can be adjusted for listening pleasure. The sensitivity of the microphone cannot be adjusted, but you can remove the glue over the volume screw. While some reviewers have had a bad experience with the microphone, others have said that it worked perfectly for monitoring outside sounds to detect security concerns.
