- The Optic Book 3800L is designed for scanning books and bound materials. Book spine shadow and page distortions are eliminated by Plustek's patent pending Shadow Elimination Element (SEE) book edge technology. Plustek's Book Pavilion software makes book scanning easy and efficient. Designed specifically for scanning books, the time it takes to scan a complete book or a few chapters in minimized thanks to the intuitive user interface and scanning workflow. The Optic Book 3800L includes ABBYY FineReader Sprint that makes it easy to convert scanned books and documents into searchable PDF and Microsoft Office file formats. Advanced automatic image processing ensures high quality scans - Automatic Page Rotation automatically rotates pages to the correct orientation. Bleed-through Reduction reduces or eliminates rear side image bleed-through when scanning thin paper and/or pages with dark ink. Auto Crop & DE skew - pages are automatically cropped to the correct size and straightened. The Optic Book 3800L is great for scanning fragile documents, comic books, magazines, booklets, stapled documents and more. LED Illumination eliminates warm-up time, provides uniform illumination and better color reproduction while using less power than competitive scanners. The included industry standard TWAIN and WIA drivers enable the Optic Book 3800L to be used with thousands of image enabled applications. . Flatbed scanner with sub connection for making quick, easy copies of documents, and images. Practical and convenient connectivity with the USB 2.0 interface. Use with Microsoft Windows.
