The JOYO Distortion Guitar Effect Pedal with Selectable MOSFET & FAT Clipping Thick Boost Distortion - True Bypass SPLINTER JF-21 is a versatile Orange-amp inspired pedal, with a wide range of settings to dial in. The VOICE control affects response, attack, and gain, and there is a built-in cabinet simulator that is not bypassable. Using an EQ pedal before and after ALL distortion OD chains is advised or alternatively use BOSS hm-2 or metal zone which have PARA-EQ built in. It takes some time to work with and stack for tone experiments but it is a significant value for its low cost, sturdy build quality and high gain style compression and distortion.
