    Answer: The wool shed on the stained surface. I had to return the unused mitts. Use a Mitt that is like a pelt, not woolly and fluffy one. I used Ace product and they worked great.

    Answer: Doubt it would work - ours left a smooth finish. Might be able to vary pressure as you pull it along?
