The Harris Stay-Silv 15 silver brazing rods are 28 pieces of 1/8 inch sticks that are about 20 inches long and come in a plastic tube of approximately 24 inches long and 5/8 inches in diameter. As the silver content is only 13%, it may be challenging to use for novice users of refrigerant brazing. The brazing temperature for this rod is higher than the soft solder used in plumbing, at a range of 1205F-1550F, according to "Bill Whitman. 7th Edition". It has an awesome flow at the right temperature, and you may use it with the A8-TE turbo torch for copper lines ranging from 3/8-7/8 inches without any need for flux. Nevertheless, if you are brazing copper to brass, the product is not suitable. To do so, you might want to use a 45% solder typically blue-coated rod. The stainless steel is harder for solders and braze filler metals to wet, so a different flux is necessary to eat through these stainless oxides. However, the silver solder commonly sold for home plumbing with copper pipe will work on such steel, but a different flux is recommended, such as one containing hydrochloric acid or one that says it is for fluxing nickel alloys or stainless.
