### Editorial Review The Electric Fence Energiser is a robust electric fence charger designed to provide high-voltage pulses for livestock management and predator deterrence over significant distances. With a power output of 8 Joules and a range of 30 km, it offers impressive performance that many users have praised once fully operational. Overall customer feedback highlights a mix of satisfaction along with some common initial setup hurdles. The energiser is noted for its ease of setup and operation, supported by clear instructions. However, some users found that the device's terminals can be challenging to work with, requiring additional tools like suitable crimp terminals for optimal connection. Additionally, a significant number of users expressed disappointment that the device does not come equipped with essential components such as an earth spike or proper cabling, which necessitates extra preparation before use. This has led certain reviewers to recommend that Prospective buyers ensure they have the necessary materials on hand for a complete installation. Long-term performance seems to be a concern for some users, as a few noted that the energiser's high power Consumption can drain batteries quicker than expected. While one user reported achieving excellent voltage output even with the issues brought up, others lamented about the energiser's tendency to Consume a fully charged battery in about five days, which contrasts with the longevity of previously owned electrifiers. In terms of performance, once users get past the initial installation phases, the energiser provides satisfactory voltage across long stretches of fencing, ensuring that livestock remains secure. Therefore, while the initial out-of-the-box experience might not meet the expectations of all users, those who invest the time in thorough setup have found it to be a reliable and effective device. ### Pros and Cons **
